Value Delivered
As Vice President Operations – Specialty Services, Mike is responsible for our operational specialty service managers at all Ohmstede Industrial Services (OIS) facilities. Mike is tasked with expanding our specialty services; this includes the training and core competency of our personnel as well as creating a niche for OIS. As the leader of OIS bolted flange joint assembly program, Mike will work collaboratively with all our managers to insure compliance with ASME PCC-1 standards to insure operational reliability and mechanical integrity of bolted flange joint assemblies. Mike says, “our clients look to us for flange joint integrity management. Clients no longer desire Contractors that do whatever their told. Our clients desire Contractors that provide ‘Value’ through knowledgeable, experienced and competent bolting personnel who will verify accuracy and push back when something doesn’t appear correct. From verifying flange face flatness and flange and bolt-hole alignment to gasket surface conditions to the correct bolts, nuts, gaskets and lubricants to verifying bolt load our goal is to provide high integrity bolted flange joint connections. We don’t just provide a service, we provide value”.
